Get To Know Me Tag

Hello, it's me (I'm so lame)

So... I had an idea. I don't know if it's good one but oh well - I thought, that by doing this tag I would give you a chance to get to know me a little bit more and reassure you that I'm not a robot behind a computer screen but a living human being. Interested? Let's go!

Picture taken from WeHeartIt.

I actually don't have a middle name. Exciting, I know.

Art, I loved it. Unfortunatelly I only had art for one year and it's no longer in my curriculum but if I had to chose my favourite it would definitely be it.

Probably right now I'd say it's aloe vera juice/drink. You know, this one with chunks of aloe vera. Or just green tea - it's my go to drink as well.

It changes all the time and I don't think I can say I have an all-time favourite song but at the moment I love 'Lua' by Bright Eyes

Ahh, could there be a harder question? I'd say my favourite dish is rice in coconut milk with chili seasoning. If you want, I will post a recipe of it pretty soon.

Two cans of greyish paint - yes, I'm redecoratng my room for the hundredth time.

"The Catcher in the Rye" - J.D. Salinger

Burgundy, like red wine.

Yes! I have a cat called Panda.

It really depends on the season we have, on the mood I'm in, how I'm feeling - on everything basically, but I noticed that I always go back to 'LVII - Limitted Edition' by ZARA, I just love this one and it's a go to for me.

Christmas, but more the time before it, than the actual holiday itself.

Yes! I'm lucky enough to have travelled quite a lot, considering I'm only 18. I live in Poland, so I've visited: Germany, Slovakia, England, Italy, France, Greece, Hungary, Monaco

My first language is Polish, so besides that I speak English fluently and I can understand some things in German, Spanish and French, but I'm nowhere near being good at speaking in those languages.

I don't really go to restaurants that often to have a favourite.

Gabriella Lindley, Savannah Brown, Cartia Mallan, Adiyanna and a lot more but that would have to be a different post haha

Again, I have a lot of favourite movies but right now I'd have to say it's 'Mr. Nobody'. It's just soo thought provoking and has a really interesting concept that it's kind of stuck in my head at that point.

'White collar' - I've watched the whole series three times now and I still love it to pieces.

I'm 165 cm tall so that makes me 5'4'' / 5'5'' ?

I am 18 years old :)

I hope you enjoyed this type of post and that you got to know me a little bit more and we can call ourselves besties and make friendship bracelets and I'm rambling now, soo thanks for stopping by and I'll talk to you soon!

Yves Rocher haul | vol. 1

Hi! It's been a long while since I made a haul post, so I thought now is the right time to change that. I went to Yves Rocher store in my town just to have a usual look around, but my mind quickly changed when I scanned all the shelves with my eyes.

There's just something I just can't resist in natural, 'green' products and if you add that they are cruelty free - well, I'm all yours. So I decided that I'm going to make a 'vol. 1' and 'vol. 2' of this haul, because I don't want to bore you with too many products happening in one post and by that statement you can already tell I bought more than I expected. But hey! They're not all for me so it's okay, right? hahah

First thing I bought (for my mum) is a moisturizer for wrinkles and firmness that you apply for the night, so it can work on your skin while you're asleep. It's designed for all skin types, so you don't have to worry that it's going to be too harsh or not moisturizing enough for you because it's made from natural ingridients.

In addition to the previous purchase we have a concentrated moisturizer for eyes and lips area. It's supposed to reduce the possibility of wrinkles in those areas and treat already existing ones.

Now, this little thing in a tiny bottle is what you can call magic. It's a glittery eye shadow in a powdery form, which has soo many benefits (but about that in a post in which I review this baby).

These two I find very simmilar - hand creams made from natural ingridients with a lovely scent to them. I have already tried them out a little bit and I have to say, they are definitely my favourites.

If you want to see a review of any product up there, just let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading as always x

Take care xx

Quick and easy pancakes recipe | Vegan

I get bored with food very easily. Especially when it comes to breakfast, I'm very picky. For the majority of the time I eat vegan (plant-based) foods, plus I like variety, so eating the same type of breakfast every day that is not very easy to modify is not really my cup of tea.

I stumbled upon this recipe when I was looking through my little 'vegan notebook'. I remembered really liking this one, because I was able to make these pancakes early in the morning right before school and I would still have lots of time to get ready etc.

I'm going to list some variations that you can use while making these pancakes - this is what I love about making them, you can modify to the extent of your imagination and enjoy a different version of them every single time you make these goodies.

Ingredients for 2 servings:

☕ 100 g all purpose-flour
☕ 8 g baking powder
☕ 16 g brown or white sugar
☕ a pinch of salt
☕ 90 ml water
☕ 10 ml oil
☕ a splash of vanilla extract

Mix everything together until it's blended and you can't find any lumps. Drop the batter with a large spoon onto a nonstick pan that's already been heated up (I don't use oil directly on the pan, because I find that it makes the pancakes too greasy). When you notice little bubbles of air on the batter and the edges are dry, flip the pancakes and cook them on a medium heat until they are browned on both sides.

Here are some alternatives that I love to use with this recipe to make them interesting:

add some peanut butter to the batter (maybe a tablespoon, maybe two depending on how much you like it) / chocolate chips / cocoa powder / cinnamon / chia seeds / maple syrup / fruits of your choice / nuts / oats

I hope you like this recipe and if you ever try it out, let me know how it turned out!
Thank you for reading and I'll talk to you soon, Natalia xx

P.S. Now I have an Instagram account so if you want to see my life in pictures go ahead and follow me ( @itsnattblog ) so we can become Instagram besties hahah x

April wish list

We all do this - we go on 'online window shopping' and then everything that catches our eye haunts us until we finally get our hands on it. Because it's Easter break now, I have more spare time than usual, which means I have been spending a lot of my free time on 'online window shopping'. So here it is - my wish list for April. In the comments section below let me know, what items can be found on your wish list for the next month.

So the first one is NYX Butter Gloss - a NYX lip product I've heard so many great opinions about. I'd love to try the one in the shade 'Praline', because it looks like a great nude colour that would perfectly complement any kind of eye makeup, from a smokey one to various daytime natural looks.

The second one is fakeup hydrating under eye concealer by Benefit. A lot of concealers unfortunately have a drying effect on the delicate skin under the eyes. This one claims to have an effect that is quite the opposite - it's supposed to hydrate the area and conceal the dark circles at the same time. If it works as it says, then I'm sold!

One more product from Benefit on my April wish list - dew the hoola liquid bronzer - another one I've heard wonderful things about. That's why I wouldn't mind adding it to my makeup collection and testing it out myself, especially in the spring season, where a little sun kissed look is particularly welcome.

The next two are fashion items: one being a bomber jacket from ZARA and number two - black flats from ZARA as well. I think these two would give me a good start in refreshing my spring wardrobe since I've never owned a bomber jacket before, especially with a fun print like this one.

What is on your April wish list?

Thank you for stopping by!

3 essential Sephora eyeshadows you need to own

Recently, I went for a little Sephora hunt with my mum, hoping I could get a really nice foundation - and I did (but about that in another post ;)). My mum had her birthday a few days earlier, so she could get a sample sized gift from Sephora and she did - a kit of three eyeshadows. She told me to do a subtle makeup on her with them, so I could try them out and honestly, I was blown away.

Let's begin with the aspect of their pigmentation because it is outstanding. Usually, when an eyeshadow is highly pigmented it either falls of the eyelid and creates a mess under the eyes or it has that weird texture that at the end of the day it will cause the eyeshadow to crease on the eyelid and that's never a good look. With these ones the case looks different. They almost have a creamy texture that sticks perfectly to the eyelid. What's more they are very easy to blend. It may seem, that when an eyeshadow is really pigmented, it can be difficult to make this subtle, smoked look without ending up with harsh lines, but in this case it's really easy.

What I love about these eyeshadows is that even though they seem to be very natural and subtle in a way, because of their colours, they can still be a great base or a pop of colour to a dramatic look. For example, the lightest one in the shade of Movie Popcorn N°72 put in the corners of the eyes will instantly make them bigger and more woken up. There are countless options to do your makeup with colours like these ones, so there are really no limits to your creativity when it comes to them. If you add decent quality formula to the equation it's a great deal.

Daily Makeup Brush Cleaner

For a long time now I've been looking for a perfect makeup brush cleaner. The one that will get rid of any type of makeup product - foundation, eye shadow, blusher etc. The one that won't damage or worsen the condition of the brushes and what's more, the one that I'll be able to use when I'm in a rush. A lot of cleaners have a formula that makes brushes take forever to dry.

This one on the other handI have been using for about three months now and I couldn't be happier with it. When I bought it, I was a little sceptical at first, because I thought that its liquid formula wouldn't do the job right - I was soo wrong.

In order to clean your brushes with this product all you need to do is spray it 3-4 times depending on how big the brush is and gently wipe the brush onto a lint-free cloth to remove the makeup. I usually use a kitchen towel. What I love about the Daily Makeup Brush Cleaner is that you don't need to rinse your brushes with water. All you have to do is let them air dry, which takes no time, because of its light consistency. As it says on the bottle, it is a daily cleaner so it's not harsh for the bristles of a brush. As I previously mentioned, I've been using this one for about three months now and I haven't seen any damaging effects on my brushes, in fact - after treating them with this cleaner they look like brand new every time!

If you can get your hands on this product, I highly recommend you to go to Sephora and grab one for yourself.

How do you clean your brushes?

Thank you for reading and take care!

3 Autumnal Things That Will Make Your Day

For me, there's something magical about the fall season. I don't know, if it's about the golden leaves falling from the trees or about the crispy morning air but I just simply love it.

Even though, at the moment the majority of people is all about the "Pumpkin spice and everything nice", you still may not feel the best way. Maybe where you live it's gloomy all the time or you've just caught a cold and suddenly you decided you hate fall. Well, if that's the case, here are some things that will make your autumn experience a lot better. But on the other hand, if you are the type of person that buys pumpkins in August because you just can't wait for the 'first leaf' to drop - feel free to enjoy these activities too!

1. Go on a 'burgundy hunt' - I think we can all agree, that burgundy is the colour of this autumn. Burgundy lipsticks, nail polishes, eye shadows, sweatshirts, boots - everything you can think of is now available in this colour. So make the most of it! Go and treat yourself with a nice mac lipstick or a matte burgundy nail polish. Nothing over the top, but still a lovely addition to this fall season.

2. Have a typical rom-com day - Sometimes, you need a break from work, school and everything that stresses you out during the week, but a hot bath is not enough and you don't feel like going out that day. Have a typical rom-com session. Set up a bunch of pillows and blankets on your bed and dive in with a hot cup of tea or hot chocolate with marshmallows. Turn off any distractions - facebook, twitter, instagram and have a 'me time'. Watch a romantic comedy that you have probably seen one hundred times but you love it so much you don't mind watching it again and just relax while enjoying your little cosy evening.

3. Bake something that screams 'autumn!' - Pumpkin pie, apple pie, cinnamon rolls, apple crisp, carrot cake - there's so many recipes that are perfect for this time of the year. Try them out, have fun with it! Not only will you gain some serious baking skills, but also you can share your piece of art with your friends and family! (or have it all for yourself - that's what I'd probably do...)

If you try these out, tell me how it went in the comments!

Thank you for stepping by and untill the next time!

The oatmeal cure for your skin

Hello loves! Summer can be really harsh for your skin: constantly changing weather, air conditioning, salty water from the sea, chlorine, the Sun and lots of other factors that can contribute to worsening the condition of your skin. But don't worry! All of that can be fixed by one natural ingredient that all of you probably have in your kitchen cupboards right now. Oats!

Oatmeal is great for any type of skin. Dry and sensitive? Not only does it get rid of redness and irritations, but also it can easily moisturise and soothe it. Oily? It quickly removes oiliness and dirt and because of its texture, it provides exfoliation for clear and brighter complexion.

How to clean your face with oatmeal? It's simple. Just take about a handful of oats and pour some warm water just enough to get the oatmeal damp and softer. When you press the oatmeal down with your thumb, it should release a 'milky goodness'. Apply the liquid on your face, so it softens up the skin. Next, take your oatmeal and massage your face with it, just like you would with a regular scrub. Rinse your face with warm water and apply your favourite moisturiser. That's literally all. It's so easy and if you use this remedy everyday, I promise, your skin will look and feel much better.

Thank you so much for reading and as always take care xx

Monte Carlo trip throwback

For the past couple of days, the weather has been terrible! So I thought I'd cheer myself up with some photos of my trip to Monte Carlo that had place 3 years ago. I didn't take many pictures, because it was so hot and there were so many people, so it was really hard to get through them with a camera. But here are some pictures that I've taken and I hope you like them!
