Hello loves! Summer can be really harsh for your skin: constantly changing weather, air conditioning, salty water from the sea, chlorine, the Sun and lots of other factors that can contribute to worsening the condition of your skin. But don't worry! All of that can be fixed by one natural ingredient that all of you probably have in your kitchen cupboards right now. Oats!
Oatmeal is great for any type of skin. Dry and sensitive? Not only does it get rid of redness and irritations, but also it can easily moisturise and soothe it. Oily? It quickly removes oiliness and dirt and because of its texture, it provides exfoliation for clear and brighter complexion.
How to clean your face with oatmeal? It's simple. Just take about a handful of oats and pour some warm water just enough to get the oatmeal damp and softer. When you press the oatmeal down with your thumb, it should release a 'milky goodness'. Apply the liquid on your face, so it softens up the skin. Next, take your oatmeal and massage your face with it, just like you would with a regular scrub. Rinse your face with warm water and apply your favourite moisturiser. That's literally all. It's so easy and if you use this remedy everyday, I promise, your skin will look and feel much better.
